you realize that's a site where fans write stuff and post right? Might as well link bleacher report.

Yes I do, but just how far off the mark do you think that is? If you think the NCAA is going to accept the self imposed penalties and give you a "time served" punishment, you are dreaming or crazy or both. The hammer is going to fall, sir, and the Rebels aren't going to like it.

And since ya'll foolishly made Farrar the fall guy, how much do you think he held back from the NCAA? Hell, he probably embellished his story to make his looming civil case against Oxford look worse.

People use goats to do the dirty work, however if you piss off your goat he will ram his horns up your backside.

Prepare thy anus ole miss.

It doesn't matter what I think, or what any fans think. That's the point I'm trying to make. Linking rumors from bleacher report is the same as making something up.

And Farrar lying to help his civil case will accomplish the exact opposite of what you are trying to imply. Lying to the NCAA is one thing but if you think lying will somehow help someone in the real court system then you would be wrong.

Yet another instance of OM screwing up this situation.

The cheaters actually had a good plan in setting up a fall guy (Barney) to take the heat off of CHF. But then, how do they not make sure that Barney is taken care of and satisfied? He's an old guy who loved Ole Miss. He should have quietly disappeared into retirement, never needing to work again. But somebody has pissed him off.

SMDH, Amatuer hour.

Sadly I agree with this. If they knew they were going to pin everything on Barney, they should have made sure to pay him off for his silence. Optimistically I'm hoping this whole thing with Barney and his lawyer is all for show and he actually has been paid off but will appear to fight it so it's not obvious he was paid to take the fall. Slim to no chance that's true, but hope is all I got left.

Well, we're talking about N.MS natives here. This lawyer could be Barney's brother-in-law and he's just trying to help the fella out. These aren't the most sophisticated, nuanced people

As much as I enjoy watching Ole Missed suffer I can't help comparing this to the Penn St shitshow. Loss of Institutional Control? Everyone in that program, that administration, and damn near everyone in that putrid city knew that little boys were being raped in the showers but the Paterno legacy came first. But Ole Miss isn't the standardbearer for college football in the upper northeast media market and they're gonna get bombed back to the stone age while Penn St had most of their sanctions dropped a year or two later.
