A TON of $$$ got thrown around by Lane’s crew this off-season inducing players to Oxford.

Given the recent events in Knoxville, should Oxford be nervous?

Man come on. We have seen this story before.

Last time you all loaded up, you got your asses handed to you. Even people in Oxford knew at some point you would have to pay the piper. Schools like ole Miss don’t attract the volume of elite players without some type of artificial “illegal” inducement.

The Rebel posters on this board sound EXACTLY like the Aggie posters in 2022.

The parallels are really something, Ole Miss just did it through the portal rather than with a recruiting class.

I know. A lot of other fan bases have said it as well. There's a pretty solid reason for it.

They are so blind to this. We've already seen how buying a team works out. You can buy a couple players that want to be there, but buy the whole team and youll end up with a team of judkins.

See the aggies and FSU when they werent going to the playoffs. They quit.

only one of us is currently in a thread being a bitch hoping a team fails because they couldn't win the game on the field last season.

Did you look in a mirror?

ETA: Nobody is hoping you fail. Just the volume of players you are buying(and make no mistake, youre buying them) has already proven to be a bad idea in a short time.

We got burned with 2 transfer corners last year and a dumbass D-coordnator, so its not like we dont have experience with this.

Wait until you hear about NIL! It’s this new thing where collectives can pay players above the table. Turns out Ole Miss is really good at it and got organized well before other schools decided to take it seriously!

Maybe others can link to it, you should check it out!

No one has said they hope Ole Miss fails, you're just being overly sensitive.
