Im gonna say this.. there is an extremely good chance we win out and are left out. Get ready for this. It’s a 50/50 scenario. We either go into Athens and win, or lose. The other games should be wins.

Loser of tOSU / Michigan will be in the same / similar boat.

He’s definitely fired up NCAA 14 to prove his point since that game multiple times.

Given that your scenario involves beating UGA in Athens it is all the better for Reb fans that they will not face such sadness....

UGA is not elite. South Carolina and Auburn showed it. Playing in Athens gives UGA an edge but certainly beatable. Hell Vandy played yall well.

I don’t think it’s 50/50 in Athens, but I do think we have a puncher’s chance and if we go 11-1 there’s a better chance of us getting left out than getting in. Which is bullshite, honestly. The fact that the SEC divisional tiebreakers don’t include ranking or overall record is batshit.

Look Georgia’s no doubt gonna be a 7-10 point favorite in that game, but I’ve watched enough bulldog football this year to know they’re far from invincible, even at home.

Still a solid team, at worst.

But we play after UGA faces a rivalry game at a neutral field and a 1 loss Mizzou that’s coming off a bye week. That makes for a tough 3 game stretch.

Ole Miss fans are dreaming. But they are never in this position so it is understandable.

Here is the deal.

The SECW will come down to Bama and LSU, as usual.

OM has no chance against UGA.

LSU has a very good chance of beating Bama.

OM beating LSU was a big-time fluke. LSU is two touchdowns better than OM.

I said this in op. If you’d read before posting, you wouldn’t look so illiterate.

For what it's worth, ESPN has updated their playoff predictor equation - Ole Miss winning out and missing the SEC Championship game would leave them with a 26% chance of making the playoffs.

Yep, they are dreaming. They aren't going to sniff the playoffs.

I don’t see them putting a 2 loss SEC team in over a 1 loss SEC team

In this scenario it will be OM in playoffs or no SEC team in playoffs

A 2 loss team isn’t making the playoffs

2-loss LSU or Bama knock off UGA and claim a spot in the playoffs (this is Georgia’s nightmare too now)

neither one is getting in with 2 losses. If the SECCG is UGA's first loss they probably still get in. 2nd, If there are other 1 loss conference champs they are gonna get in.
The one thing the committee has done is been constant on no 2 loss teams regardless of conference championships you win.
TCU was an example just last year.
