don't know if you were one or not. That doesn't matter. All I know is from your bunch....."we will just bring Freeze home. He is a much better HC anyway".......was something I read numerous times.

we rarely lose to them. It seems Ole Miss is used to it. I am sure that is because of the long list of OL coaches you have had.

I never cared for Kiffin. Thought he was immature & overrated. Then he trolled two fan bases at the same time and became a legend.

what I know for a fact is we just got an OL coach who's team put up a top 10 rushing attack historically in a league that has been running the ball for over 100 years. I will take that.

No one has denied our running game was tremendous, but something was terribly wrong with our pass protection which really was bizarre considering we should have typically had teams selling out for the run and open easy passing opportunities but it just wasn’t there.

Maybe y’all will run even more than we did, but that would not line you with Freeze’s scheme.

I’m happy he’s gone, don’t care how he does for y’all

The post history is a little weird. Posted in the SECRant and Ole Miss Board from 2013-2016. First post since 2016 was day that Freeze was hired and changed logo to Auburn. Are you Hugh?

We looked lost and panicked in pass pro

could that have anything to do with pass protection scheme?

The one our o line coach was responsible for? That’s what I’ve been assuming

That would be on the OC. Just like the wr route trees are from the OC, not the wr coach. The coaches just teach technique.

Thornton may turn out to be a good OL coach. He is very young and frankly I think the job was a little too big for him at Ole Miss. Our interior OL would run block very well in spurts and then just crap out. Pass protection was among the worst in the league in pressures. And we had so many bad snaps.

He may be very good for you but it's no secret he was on his way out or Oxford regardless this year

Is Grant Heard the best WR coach in the business? No but I think hes pretty good and knows Hugh's system. I have no idea what the Ole Miss posters who keep saying he underutilized our WRs are talking about frankly. Grant Heard may have been on the 5-7 team but he was also on the 10-3 team.
