LINK

They want some company to come in and build and maintain a mixed used space while also offering stadium upgrades and Jumbotrons to replace their small TV. They don’t even have an enclosed stadium. It will never get loud.

They had a good run. Let's see if they can capitalize on it.

I’m declaring bankruptcy for the program as we speak.

How does "we're about to spend a lot of money on stadium upgrades" = "we're broke" ?

Also can someone tell me what this means?

"100-key, 30-condo condotel"

100 regular hotel rooms, and 30 condos? I am not familiar with this terminology.

I wondered the same thing. Some hotels are built that include condos where the owner can offer them for rent through the hotel when they are not staying there. Although, one might think there would not be much need outside football games, being right on campus would make them desirable.

UGA has had one for decades called The Georgia Center, a 5 minute walk from the stadium, on campus and owned and operated by the university. Now that I'm thinking about it, is that unique or do most schools already have something like this? Georgia Center doesn't have condo's though, it's event space, a restaurant, and hotel rooms.

Typically refers to total units (100 rooms) and total condos (30)

So, 70 of the planned units would be open to public like a normal hotel rental and owned/maintained by the property. 30 would be sold to private buyers for their personal use.

Found one for you. Good news is, half of them are probably State fans.

Please tell me you didn’t actually graduate from Auburn. If so, speaks volumes about what a shitty school it is. Coming from an Arkansas Grad. And as someone pointed out, do you even know what an RFP is without having to look it up using AI, dipshit?

I'm all about hating on Ole Miss especially after this whole Kiffin saga. But c'mon dude. . .do you know what a RFP is? How could you see that article and come away with the conclusion that Ole Miss is broke?!? I thought an Auburn education was better than that.
