Make no mistake, this era in Ole Miss football history is nothing more than Pony Exce$$ Part Deux. I mean, if you really think about it, why would any recruit want to go to a program located in a college town like Oxford? What's the appeal? Especially when you have an offer to play in the Murder Capital of America in Baton Rouge, or Tuscaloosa - I hear they have a Newk's AND a McAlister's.
Ole Miss is basically Michael Bolton from Office Space. We wanted to get ours but got in over their head and made one too many mistakes in the process.

College Station is rote; brutalist; utilitarian. No frills. It is a train station that stops at a college. There's no frills, no uppity bullshite. Just wranglers and ropers. And big belt buckles.

Every other school in this conference has the right to talk shite about Ole Miss, except TAMU. You are the eternal pledge and will always be the laughing stock of the SEC. And not to mention you're the 6th best football program in your own state.

I watched Pony Excess last night and noticed the similarities. The one key difference is that the Dallas newspaper took SMU down. I'm more than positive that the local paper in Oxford won't take down Ole Miss, maybe one in Memphis, but not in Oxford.
