No way. Last night was proof that Ole Miss is gonna run roughshod through the SEC. Didn't you watch all those long drives by Swag Kelly and that brilliant defense by the rebels bears?

Bama gave opportunities but, as an LSU fan, I have to give credit to a pumped up Reb squad. And Robert Nkemdichi is just scary.

We have our own ammo but it will be a seriously good game. We still have a lot to learn this year. I hope (and believe) if both teams remain healthy and we develop our young QB over the next few weeks, it will be a GREAT game. Just wish is were going to be in Death Valley and not the grove.

See you in November and thanks for last night's entertainment.

My favorite two teams are LSU and whoever is playing Alabama. It is the only time in the year I cheer for Ole Miss. You made them look stupid. I don't care a little luck was involved. You cashed in on it!

Keep thinking that. You are basing all of this off your performance against MSU and Auburn. Watched both games and your D is now where near as good as Bama's. You have no depth on the front 7 and you do not get a good enough pass rush. The only thing that will make the LSU vs Ole Miss game interesting is LF7....unless they let BH pass the ball past the Line of Scrimmage....then the interesting thing will be watching Landsharks run back pics 6 after pic 6.

What was cute was watching just how bad he really is yesterday. If Boom wasn't such an idiot and ran a D that his team of mental midgets could understand they may have actually been in that game yesterday. Most of BH's completions were shuttle passes or WR screens....when he did throw downfield he nearly got his receivers killed (AKA poor Jeter). It's a shame because you have a stable of Stud WRs. Any recruit that has 1/2 a brain cell should see that and run the other way.....

The fact that you felt the need to start this thread tells me we're winning.

I really want the OM/LSU game to have the ramifications and meaning that our 2003 meeting had

I was expecting an Eli falling down photo

I absolutely loved watching Godchaux wipe his arse with Austin Golson's fat fricking redneck face yesterday.

Ole Miss got as lucky as frick no doubt, but luck is where preparation and opportunity meet, or in this case collide.

Ole Miss is a Fluke

The only "Flukey" thing about that game was the lob pass as Swag was being hit that went for a long TD. The rest was just football. Bama made errors, some of which Ole Miss forced, and Ole Miss capitalized and DIDNT make mistakes of their own, something we didn't see from a Bo Wallace led Ole Miss team.

Sure, Bama probably wins if they don't turn the ball over so much, but if they didn't turn it over the whole flow of the game changes so much that you can't say for sure what would have happened.

As an LSU fan, do you think you, me or any other LSU fan would give a shite about how impressive or decisive a victory over Bama (at Bama with a QB making their first SEC start) would be after taking a hard look at it?

I'm gonna go with a "no." We would be impressed. The W is all that matters.

No one is talking about it but the fact that Bama wasn't flagged and forced to rekick the onside kick for swatting the ball toward their own end zone was a ridiculous no call... Ridiculous... You could tell the replay guy ESPN had in the booth was frowning at the refs for keeping their hands at their side.

It was a great game anyway... Best front seven in the country this season and the Tide will no doubt have the best LB corps in college football for years to come.

I just don't get how a win is dominant and a team becomes the "Best in the West" when they barely won with a turnover margin of +5. That was a REALLY shitty Bama performance

(Not saying LSU's win was at all better or more dominant)

All credit to Ole Miss but please don't go there with the officiating and that play in particular. The only thing the refs may should have corrected about the onside kick was that Bama probably should have gotten the ball at the point where it was tipped. The sack and fumble return that was called an incomplete pass and therefore couldn't be reviewed should have been a TD. There were linemen 10 yards downfield on the reviewed TD too. Having said all that, Ole Miss kept making big plays when their backs were against the wall so it wouldn't have mattered if those two calls fell the other way.
