LSU is under no obligation to play anyone. These guys cannot sue a university because they didn’t make the roster. If so, they would have a suit against the pro teams that cut them.

They have to post the roster for Game 1 in Friday. They do not have to post game 2 roster until the following Friday.
On a redshirt. They are no longer a factor.
Plus, Chambliss got his 6th year of eligibility on a redshirt rule. Redshirts no longer exist. Does this mean he is breaking the rules.
Plus, Ole Miss tried to get these guys and they chose LSU. SO IS ole Miss actively recruiting. Will the SEC sue them, too?

Pretty sure these guys in question will make WAY MORE playing for LSU than they got for their stipend when they worked out with the pros and never saw the field.

To support your point, it was brought before both a Louisiana and a Texas (Dallas, I think) judge. Why would he sue unless the NCAA and SEC had ruled against him.
