Disagree, I don't think athletes will care.
FWIW, I personally know a fairly big time recruit in another sport who was leaning LSU heavily for the past year and just committed to another school recently. They mentioned all of the controversy with LSU kind of putting them off a bit, but ultimately I think it was mostly that the other school did a good job recruiting them, and proximity to home.

Actual crimes committed by coaches, recruiting violations that aren’t disputed, hookers, 6 year exemptions, losing lawsuits here and there, but trying to burn a school down for anonymous sources to a magazine.
I hope Miss St gets it rolling again you are the class of the state.
