Story as Ole as time - African American kid seen as free labor meal ticket

quote:

Former NFL player Michael Oher petitioned a Tennessee court in August 2023, alleging that Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy lied about adopting him, instead tricking him into a 2004 conservatorship that allowed them to profit from his name and story

I bet you wish the Oxford White Segregationist weren't so comfortable that they will never leave.

I'm from Mississippi and I've never heard of anything like that.

Must be an old school Louisiana thing?

Hahaha, you seem to be the one melting. The truth hurts doesn't it? I guess you don't like facts. You probably have the picture of the KKK on the ole miss campus framed.

your posts on the poli board and this board don't really match up. What gives?

for example, what did you mean by this post?

"They came on like something unchained—no order, no fear, just violence. If there’s a hard place in the fight, send the Tigers. They’ll either take it or die on it.”

"They came from the backwoods and didn't know how to read or write. Some were wharf rats out of New Orleans. It was the vilest bunch of men you ever did see."

Quotes about Wheat's Louisiana Brigade, also called "The Fightin Tigers". In the Army of Northern Virginia. LSU is literally named after Confederate troops who died protecting the South's way of life (SLAVERY). We are all residents of "Deep Dixie". Most all of our ancestors probably did things we wouldn't be proud of . But be careful you know about your own schools history. Just because were the Rebels, that does not mean were the only school with a history directly tied to the Confederacy or Slavery. But then again, your from Louisiana and you probably haven't been able to read this far down. Hotty Toddy. Can't wait for this board on 9/20/2026.

Pretty sure that was the only Confederate unit they had to surround with armed confederate troops in case they didn't follow through on an execution they were required to do of a couple of guys that got drunk and rowdy. They were worried they were going to refuse to do it and turn their guns on the rest of the Army of Virginia.
They did the execution after the convicted begged them to do it so they didn't all get killed.

Come on, don’t fall to their stupid level. There is nothing wrong with residents wanting to be governed by themselves.

Many black houstonians, I would assume, also don’t like their city becoming little Vietnam or little Guatemala or whatever the hell it is now.

Nothing to do with segregation (or not) in Louisiana

Personally, as a Texan, I am very proud to descend from over a dozen confederate veterans. Idk what the hell has happened to y’all.
