Lane was able to see the Alabama "signals", (which must come in at a super lightning pace from Golden), then process what play might work best against said "signals", then communicate that play to Corral & Co. so they can run the play perfectly designed for that particular "signal"...(all within a few seconds).

Are you under the impression it takes a minute to say a play and then signal it in? everything you say here could happen in 15 seconds, that doesn't mean it happened, but it's not physically impossible

Probably should have added that apparently Ole Miss was only interested in stealing defensive signals and for some reason ignored the offensive signals, as they gave up 63 points.

If teams are stealing your signals, get better signals. Can you just steal Golding from us? Please. Just this once. We will never ask you to steal a coordinator again.

Okay...lots of neat answers...I need someone to tell me exactly how "stealing signals" works when you run plays as fast as Ole Miss...and of course Alabama will win the game, I mean come on. But any time ANYONE has any success against Alabama I hear the most creative shitty excuses imaginable as to why...but somehow what's never included is "the other team played well"....so someobody explain the timing of "stealing Bama's signals". I'll wait.

First I've heard of stealing signals. I just figured Kiffin did a lot of study on the game.

However, the alternative to what you are suggesting is that Kiffin diagnosed the defense and everything without the signals just as fast.

Which I do not have a hard time believing, he is always calling audibles in games.

why was Bama's defense the only one that struggled among other p5 teams against Ole Miss?

Offensive output per game:
Florida: 613 yards
Alabama: 647 yards
Auburn: 444 yards
South Carolina: 708 yards
LSU: 558 yards
Kentucky: 459 yards
Arkansas: 442 yards
Vandy: 641 yards
State: 550 yards
Indiana: 493 yards

Yeah, Bama was the only defense that struggled against us.

Cute. But what does it mean?
