He's not.

Ya I don't think so either, but stranger things have happened. Especially since the UGA job doesn't look to be available anymore.

You're right. He'll "resign".

You aren't really that stupid, are you? If they hear what they want to hear in their "if we/would he" conversations with their top candidates then they'll come up with the buyout in no time.

Also, I am fairly confident that Nutt's buyout is not a lump sum payment.

How do Auburn fans feel about tuberville? Wasn't he like 7-3 against Bama, and had an undefeated season? It can't all be bad.

I've got nothing but love for Tubbs, I think people are just laughing at the irony of Tubs to OM considering the irony of his past there.

Tubbs was a phenomenal coach but ultimately he remained loyal to bad assistants who couldn't recruit. Hell, he might still be here if he had hired Malzahn over Tony Franklin.

No they don't they paid a lot of money to only be expected to win at minimum six games. It's a country club pressure wise.

I hear Billy Brewer is willing to put his bar tending career on hold to come back.

Where will Kirby go?

He seems destined to me to be a HC somewhere, I don't know if Ole Miss is the right gig though, half step above kentucky/vandy.

Maybe. Doesn't Nutt have a 6 million dollar buyout? We're talking about Mississippi here. Poorest state in the country and all that.

If all this money Forward Rebels are claiming to have is actually real, what happens in two years when the next coach can't win there? Just nonchalantly raise another $30 million?

I think its going to be either Hudspeth or Leach. I kinda want Leach because I have a felling he will just say screw the bear and make them the Admiral Ackbars like it should have originally been.

In my experience most AU fans are still pretty fond of Tubs. He did a lot of great things for the program, ran a tight ship, and was a good guy. It was time for a change at the end, but I will always like xCTT.

I love Bama and Auburn fans think there is no way Kirby Smart or Gus Malzahn would ever take the Ole Miss gig. It is a chance to coach at the highest level of their proffesion (college wise). Why wouldnt either of them jump at the chance to coach at Ole Miss. You can field decent teams at Ole Miss it has been done before. Not saying you could win the conference or a national title game however, they could be a annual bowl team which is considerd to be successful there.

Reactions?
Is the Ole Miss AD related to Steinbrenner, and is CTT related to Billy Martin?

Don't put all of us in one basket. I think Ole Miss is a job you can't turn down as an OC/DC or a coach wanting to get back in to the game.

Where did an Auburn fan say there is no way Gus would take the Ole Miss gig?
