Exhibitions of people with low expectations... Probably sticking around for the trophy presentation.

So it's your contention that high expectations preclude jubilant celebration? Presumably, all programs should be trying to get to the point where they can expect championships every year. By your thinking, the goal of every AD should be to gradually eliminate all joy from the program.

It must really suck to be you and have that kind of outlook. There may be hope, however. There are many people in this world who, despite whatever success they may have, still manage to find joy in the little things. I ate my delicious breakfast this morning with a huge smile on my face, not altogether dissimilar from the one I wore in Oxford on Saturday night or at my computer Monday morning.

There's so much joy to be had in this world, and it doesn't have to be contingent on submitting to low expectations. Please learn to find it.

It's the LSU way of coping by downplaying the win. Tale as old as time

We don't all feel that way. It's nice seeing people get so excited about a win IMO. Only thing I didn't enjoy about it is y'all got to do it at our expense.

Not specifically you but generally speaking. The majority of your fanbase is demeaning it which is fine because there would be a section of ours that would do it too the only difference being that there's a 100 to 1 Rantard to Beartard ratio so it seems more prevalent in yours.

I was at the game. It was a lot of "man, don't beat us too bad" before the game and a slight bit of "boom, we beat that arse" after the game from the same people. Weak sauce but to be expected.

All in all, I was surprised at the lack of shite talking from Ole Miss fans. We were right in the middle of an Ole Miss section and I will say that 99% of the fans around us were cool as shite. We weren't getting ratted out for drinking like we did in Auburn.

Ole Miss won the game. Nothing else to be said.

I mean, if we went to an Ole Miss site, I'm sure we could up that ratio just a bit I definitely get what you're saying though.

wtf, Auburn. For all the reasons to dislike every fan base in the SEC, Auburn, State, and TAMU are the fricking worst for one reason: boring-arse, non-self aware dorks who should never be invited to a party.

ftr, I've said for years that, despite LSU being the fan base I hate the most, if you told me that there were 5 randomly selected fans of each SEC school other than Ole Miss in the next room and that I had to chose one group to hang out with for a night, sight unseen, there would be absolutely no need to think about it. LSU by a mile.

Ole Miss fans always expect to lose it's been bred into our DNA so that's expected. You'll rarely run into extremely rude OM people unless you yourself are acting like a dick then expect to get treated that way. The only place I've been treated extremely badly was State.

And you sounds like a Kentucky fan. No realistic hopes of ever winning a conference championship so you get off on beating one of the contenders for it (us, bama, uf, and uga)

Championship contender?

It wasn't until 07 and 09 that it got bad. Before it was just like any of the other two dozen Egg Bowls I'd been to.

Yes, you beat an SEC championship contender. We are no longer a contender, but prior to you winning, we were. His statement makes perfect sense to someone with the ability to read.

I would have thought the 2010 and 2011 egg bowls were pretty tame. I didn't even really watch the 2011 game.

It was raining in 2011 and 2010 wasn't really interesting until we started making a semi-comeback in the fourth when Masoli put on his Superman cape and then Lex Sowell tore his delusion of victory from his grasp.
