Elko is not even Ole Miss best baseball player in history.

This is moreso what I’m getting at along with it being WAY too damn soon. Dude is 25 years old and hasn’t been called up to AAA ball yet

I don't think anyone deserves a statue until after their career is over and the one for Elko is way too soon in my opinion.

Please link the official statue rules so that we can reference them in the future.

Your football programs team-building exercise is cow fisting. You’re not allowed an opinion.

Link any collegiate sports program erecting a statue of a player 2-years removed from playing

Maybe you should tell Bianco that because he took a picture with the statue this morning. He’s also honored with a quote and his picture on the wall behind the statue.

Once again: no one asked you.

He and his mustache are stuff of legend. Not really random. Most will accredit the championship to him.

Well that puts new light on this. BOGO deals are never a bad idea.

It’s a wall commemorating our first baseball national title and the statue is of the team captain who had the biggest part in getting us there.

Weird thread

It worked well enough to actually win the west in football. Maybe have your team give it a try.

Good player who brought a title to a school which has been one of the least successful in the SEC over the past 50+ years. I can understand it.

You have an all-time losing record. I don’t think cow fisting is making your program better.
