The cloak of religion once again is used to hide evil behavior.

Makes it difficult to step in a church, toss some dollars in the collection plate and have faith in the propaganda and conditioning to be weak and subservient when seemingly everywhere you turn there's a so called religious man getting arrested for kiddie porn, stealing from the church, abusing his flock, or manipulating parents and athletes with bible verses and cash stuffed envelopes.

These bad actors using the Lord's name in vain make it hard for honest, good people of faith to not look like loons and sheeple.

Makes me sad.

Is just a little honor and integrity too much to ask for?

An IQ in the triple digits is all you really need to get atheism.

Those guys definitely should become atheists. That way they would be living consistently within their moral foundations. Blind, uncaring, amoral, universe and all.

Those two schools aren't hiding behind the cloth.

It's this very same type of religious men who are up in arms over transgenders using public restrooms. Transgender people have never harmed anyone but these people make it seem like Armageddon is at hand. Two-faced religious politicians seem to be a dime a dozen, especially in the South.

One of those schools has had a history of hiding behind a hood. Back in the 60s, most of their fans did not even hide it.

Bert is squeaky clean. He suspends kids for being on time.

I've never attempted to justify Petrino's actions. He's a complete scumbag.

I agree. I'm a nihilist and am glad that our coaches find ways to take advantage of the sheep in a meaningless sport that draws my interest before the void swallows us all.

Christians are the biggest hypocrites in our society.

Christians sin just as much as anyone else. It's part of being human. There are plenty of fakers and Cultural Christians out there who give the rest of us a bad name, but even the truest of believer is capable of doing terrible things. Just because you aspire to live life in a Godly manner doesn't mean you won't ever mess up. Anyone who says they are a Chrsitian and falls away or loses faith because of the mistakes others never was one. Bottom line.

All people are hypocrites at some point. Some of us are just smart enough to step back and admit it, rather than be naive enough to think they are immune.
