How did y'all let this guy get out get of your state. He joined Bo Jackson and Onterio McCalebb as the only true freshman Auburn RBs to ever rush for over a 100 yards in their first college game.

Can we wait until he does more than get all 110 of his rush yards after it was 46-0 already against Akron before we make this determination?

A determination that he'll be a good college player?

Well yea, for one. For two, deciding that Ole Miss and State made a mistake not recruiting him.

Well, based on everything that's been said about him. And the eye test I'd say those two schools shouldnt be ok letting a promising player like him leave the state.

He ran for 110 yards, all of them after entering a 46-0 game against a team that gave up 6.3 YPA last year exclusively against MAC teams.

Maybe just wait and see him against another P5 team first - or even a non-horrible G5 team in garbage time - before we start finger wagging other teams for not recruiting him. That's all.

I don’t really know if he will get those chances, he might push for #2 RB. He did look good, and I will be interested to see him and the OL against good competition.

He was a late take for all 3 schools. Everyone kept him warm and I don’t know that he had an offer until the last minute. Everything I’ve read about him though is that he is a strong worker and a very humble kid.

Guys cross state lines every year. It happens.
Recruiting is an in exact science.
Sometimes you miss guys.

Darrell Henderson out of South Panola was a great RB a few years back.
State & Ole Miss passed on him and he went to Memphis and had stellar career and ended up in the NFL.

The pay scale for a 3 star is much higher at Auburn

They both recruited and offered him. Some kids just want to go out of state
