All I see is Kiffin speaking facts about a lazy softy that is not a team player....and is a pouty little bitch.

Make a settlement, move on. This kid will never amount to sh*t in life.

This is essentially the same as if you didn't go to work for 2 weeks, got fired, and then tried to file for unemployment due to "mental health". You'd get denied every time in the real world.

WTF? The kid basically said that he'd be okay if he got his way. Shame.

So playing defense would make him mental?

Or he would continue having mental issues despite preferably playing defense?

Which one is it?

I think everyone here knows how much I loathe Ole Miss, so for me to say this I think says a lot.

Let's let the facts come out, but what I've seen so far makes it seem like the kid was looking for a way out and tried to set a trap for Kiffin. This kid comes across as a real piece of crap just making a money grab because he knows he'll never cut it in football. He thought he would be rich playing in the NFL, and now he knows he won't. Kiffin took the bait a bit, but I hope this garbage suit gets tossed. UNLESS more evidence comes out that suggests otherwise.

Guy just seems like your stereotypical neutered gen z pussy with entitlement issues. Doubt he was bullied enough to know what real mental health issues are. Mom probably had a big hand in this pro victim stunt. It was clearly concocted by him and someone else while he cut off contact with the cradle robber. I don't see claims about Kiffin berating him before that. Leg injuries are mentally rough, but when you're being paid to be at college? Pussy.

Clearly from the fact he ignored Kiffin for weeks and then went to a meeting he planned to secretly record, this was the plan all along. I would bet this attorney approached the school about a settlement before going public with this. With how liberal ESPN has become, there will probably be an article about this every other day, bashing Ole miss, college football, etc... It's not going to be a good look for Ole miss or Kiffin but I hope they fight this. If we settle these lawsuits are going to pop up from athletes everywhere. Mental health is a serious issue and I certainly want anyone athletes, students, employees, employers, etc.. to do everything they can to help themselves and others but there is a difference between real depression/mental issues and being mad or upset.

That's still not going to fix the stink issue you got in Florida. Everything is stinky.

Ole Miss has already implemented a robust sports mental health program which was lauded during SEC Media Days this offseason. They've already taken steps to prepare for the backlash and to properly document/handle future mental health issues whether they be valid or feigned.

AKA Ole Miss created a PR stunt after they realized they were going to be sued in a discrimination/mental health case.

Well, add another cost to running a football program. The schools that don’t make money from football are one step
closer to dropping it and other sport
programs when they have to provide
additional services that have the potential
to balloon in costs.

Only a stunt if they don’t provide the service.

Not discriminated against a player.

You can look at how handled things last year if you want an example “ Cohen noted that Leach urged players to utilize resources, including speaking to mental health care professionals.

"Don't be too proud to ask for help because occasionally everybody does need help," Cohen said.”.

What State didn’t do was make some BS statement about being the first to address mental health issues.

Kiffin did as well. They sent him to the mental health director. Get off your high horse. You don't belong on it.

Wasn't BS. Ole Miss saw that they could implement a more extensive mental health care program so they put it into action and established it. Does MSU have such an extensive department dedicated to their athletes mental well being?
