Any team with two losses is probably done unless the whole nation gets crazy; however if that happens OM will have lost to Memphis and got killed by UF. I cannot see many scenarios where they would get in the playoffs.

Neither because the committee won't have to deal with the controversy and headache of leaving out a team with fewer losses than the champion of that same conference. A one-loss team from another P5 conference, a one-loss Notre Dame, or the undefeated champion of a G5 conference will get in instead.
This 4-team playoff system is just as broken as the BCS. It's a glorified popularity contest judged by a small group of biased people. With the BCS, there was at least some semblance of objectivity because computers played a factor. There is even less objectivity now.

ACC, Big 12, Big 10, Pac 10 will all have an undefeated or 1 loss champ, so neither.
If it did happen however, Alabama would go regardless of the fact that ole miss is SEC champ and won head to head. Blown out v Florida and a beat down by Memphis = it's over.

Unless other P5 champs and Notre Dame have 2 losses, neither. Bama if it comes to that.

Florida. In your scenario, Ole Miss wins the West and goes to the SECC. No way they beat Florida - we've already seen what happens in that matchup.
(I know you probably meant Ole Miss beats Florida in your definition of "winning out", but in this scenario Ole Miss has UPSET A&M and LSU...that's already outrageous enough to consider).

Ole Miss is done. A 2 loss team will not go. If Bama wins out they will go. Bama is currently ranked #8 in both polls ( yes, I know the polls are not part of the equation ). The teams ahead of Bama most will knock each other off. Bama will be the highest 1 loss team in the nation. If LSU beats Bama, they are in.

While I wish they would, Ole Miss won't win out. And even if they do, they have absolutely no shot whatsoever of going to the playoff. In my opinion.
Unless something miraculous happens, and I hope it does, they will be lucky to go 3-2 over the next 5 games.
Now, if Memphis wins out, they just might go.

Looking like the only possibilities for an SEC team making the playoff hinge on LSU, Alabama, or Florida finishing with one loss (or zero for LSU) including an SEC championship game. In this hypothetical situation Ole Miss would be a two loss SEC champion which probably eliminates the SEC. The committee has claimed that conference champions hold more weight and this would be a test of that.

It was done bc the "historical" teams were having trouble against the computers.

Half our team has gotten hurt the first half of the season. By that logic, we won't have a team by the end of the year. LOL @ us winning out.

It depends on what other teams do. If Bama beats LSU, Bama fans better hope that Ole Miss loses another conference game and/or that Notre Dame lays an egg against someone remaining on their overrated schedule, or the SEC will be left out.
