During this 12 year period, you have started 122 threads. Of those 122 threads, 18 have been started in the last 10 years (or 1.8 new thread every year) and yet you come out of the woodwork to start 2 threads yesterday...one of which is focused on Oklahoma beating Tennessee and has zero to do with your own program's team.
Actually, if you look at the new threads you have started in the last 24 months, 4 of the 7 (57%) are about Tennessee.

I hope Oklahoma beats the brakes off UTenn,
I've never understood this saying. What good does beating the brakes off a team do anybody.
I'd much rather tear up their tear up Tennessee's transmission or crack their manifold or something...
Seems like beating their brakes off would make them more like an "all gas/no brakes" team like Texas. Certainly don't want that.... because apparently Texas thinks that is a good thing. Tennessee might also.

I appreciate your support.
My Sooners have not instilled a lot of confidence in the fan base yet.

Eh OT Lance Heard is listed as questionable for the Vols. Word is he will start but he may not be able to play the whole game. That could change things significantly. It could also be pure gamesmanship.

Heard needs to fix his footwork badly. The talent is there but that wasted year at LSU set him back.

He’s been having ankle problems so there’s that. Hard to do footwork with a bum ankle.

I don't know. I'll still go with: SEC, prepare thy anuses -- including Georgia.

And then shortly thereafter, you will be sorry you ever rooted for them. The things you dislike about Tennessee, OU will bring at you 10-fold.
OU and Texas posters have been around here long enough for the SEC fan base to get a sense of who is and isn’t annoying AF.
Which is probably why this thread was created in the first place.

He's a great runner.

Good deal. I wish him luck. I know Arnold is OUs future and dude will eventually be great but it’s rough asking a guy that has looked that uncomfortable to face what most reasonable folk see as one of the best front 7s in college football today.

I would feel much concern with this game if Dillon Gabriel was the QB.
He at least makes plays.

Don't be surprised if Hawkins plays a series or two just to change things up. Especially if JA is struggling.
Oklahoma's back 7 was rated #1 in the SEC by Phil Steele. I don't know if I would go that far, but our defense as a whole has looked pretty good.
We're hearing that a couple of Tennessee's best DBs are out. Is that accurate, and if so, how deep is your secondary?

Thomas hasn’t played a snap this year I don’t believe. And Slaughter is a young rotation guy.
The secondary is not deep at the Star spot with a veteran and a freshman but the rest rotates heavily going 3 deep this year. I would assume them will not be playing the other 3 3rd string guys much. They really did well in the portal this offseason getting some nice upgrades.
The 3 questions going into this year were Oline depth, Secondary, and WR production. The schedule set up nicely with 3 scrimmages, a game and a bye to get through to week 6.

OU has more talent than TN across the board. The OL is the only question mark, just as it was before the season started. There’s been injuries at every position along the OL and OU has been down to a 4th string center. Starters are going to be back on the OL, so I’m looking forward to seeing what that looks like now. We will see how both QBs fare and who’s better under pressure. Nico hasn’t seen a DL or secondary anywhere near as good as OUs. That’s before you consider OU has the best LB room in the conference. This won’t be a blowout and I could see it going either way. OU has a massive advantage in forcing turnovers and playing down hill. Which ever young QB struggles more loses I think. Should be a great game and both teams will probably earn a ton of respect.
