I thought y'all left that Big XII communism behind you. Friday nights belong to the high schools.

Find any way we could to make the offseason go quicker even if it means one day!
Also, nobody is watching Utep and OU on a Saturday. TBH I don’t mind it gives me something to watch as I sit at the lake.

The move is in consideration of the heat expected. You can still go on Saturday if it means that much to you.

Yeah a day game on Saturday would be hot AF plus it gives OU an extra day before Michigan.

There is. But they have over 2 months to reschedule to Thu night. And HS parents would rather play that Thu due to holiday weekend. Frees it all up

I don’t care for this SEC belief that Saturdays are the only days of the week fit for football
We’ve played a number of Thursday night games in our history and I’d be angry if the SEC took that away from us
