Beckham was very close with coach Jay Norvell. Beckham was going to come to ou but got talked out of it by the shitty people he runs around with in his circle of friends and his own family, which were all thugs.
Norvell allowed him to transfer to OU to help him get away from the bad elements in his friends and family to help him secure his future so he didnt become a statistic. Thats how Norvell is and always has been. Nobody thought he'd play a down at OU but if he did well thats not bad either. He was on a tight leash at OU and had no other incidents at OU once he got away from all the shite people in his life and ended up getting drafted. THAT....is the moral highground, idiot. Theres nothing "moral" about throwing young people and their entire futures away like common trash. Boren and Bob are right. The mob are just that.....a stupid, reactionary, uninformed mob.

I think your tag is incorrect lobotomy. You didn't include OU in your list of 10+ conference champs since 2012 ( I think we have 21 conf titles in that completely arbitrary time period).

Ok, my two cents: No way we take OU and OSU. If we take OU and another team to hit 16, it needs to be Kansas. The Big Blue needs some competition in the SEC and I'd love to be able to make KU our bitch year in year out. As an Sec East team, we wouldn't play OU in football much anyway so that wouldn't affect us. Personally, I'd prefer Kansas and North Carolina for #15 and #16 so we can dominate all of the supposed blue bloods every year.

I'll take 22-7 which is UK's all time record against KU. That's over a 75% winning percentage which is similar to what Kentucky has against other supposed SEC powers like Florida, Arky and LSU.

I'd like for OU and Okie Light to join the conference. I'd actually prefer OU, and K State (or KU). The SEC would span TX up through KS and over to Kentucky. That's a damn fine footprint. OU also has a mass following. Their t-shirt army rivals Alabamas.
