Stone is okay... but may not play this week or against Texas.
OU has a bunch of older guys on the DL that they transferred in. They have more than just the redshirt freshman. So they have about three guys to cover for Stone.
Stone is a big play guy... but is inconsistent. He makes a TFL and then whiffs on the next play. The guys replacing him may actually be a little more consistent in terms of not taking themselves out of plays.

I agree with this statement. I think Michigan is better than some give them credit for, so a close loss to them is understandable. The close win over New Mexico is easily explained by their looking ahead.
We will know more about Georgia AND Oklahoma after Staurday.

Not sure I agree with this, but it is certainly possible. If we take them lightly and they come out hot it is possible for them to get the upset. I don't expect it, but it is possible.

OU has the defense to hang in for a half or so. The problem is they’re going to be on the field a lot in this game and the rest of the way against an SEC schedule.

An underdog winning outright a 12 to 14 point spread happens less than 15% of the time. Not likely, but enough that it wouldn't be a complete shock.

Dangerous? How? The offense is John Blake-era bad. Our defense isn’t like early 2000s good but is decent enough to make a loss seem respectable. But dangerous is a stretch. There is nothing to fear about this program.

QB needs to return to pre-injury status. He is giving Sam a run for his money at biggest disappointment. .

The point being missed is that UGA could easily win this game 17-0. That's how bad OU's offense has been.

It will be really tough for Oklahoma if David Stone is out, for sure. We will run the ball a lot, then play action passes. It will help a lot if they can shut down our run game.

OU scored 10 against Mich and 14 against mighty New Mexico. Their defense may be solid but that offense is atrocious.
UGA has only lost one home game in the last 6 seasons...and that was to Bama last year. OU is going to have to score at least 35-40 points to beat UGA.

lmao. Both games you referenced were against bama, which OU is not even close to right now, one of which was on the road. Zero can be taken from those games as it relates to this weekend.
Prior to last weekend we had a trend of sneaking out a close win by the skin of our teeth in the first conference road game going back the last 3 seasons. That sure didn't apply for this year.
