Not true at all. They have more big 12 titles, more heismans, more playoff appearances, more draft picks, and it’s not even close. They’ve beat you head to head 18 of the last 25years including last year. What a retard fricking post. That is the perfect example as to why people fricking hate you. You spew garbage, don’t look at facts and talk a bunch of shite. You hang your hat on one win against Bama, and a last second touchdown 20 years ago for a national title. You had your chance to win it all the last two decades and you did it once. Your time is up and over.

One of my favorite things about Texas fans is their knee jerk reaction to go with their lead all time record against OU. In reality, OU has the lead going back to 1944. However, Texas fans will say that "leather helmet days still count".
Yet, when it is pointed out to them that Vandy dominates them in H2H... They say "yeah, but we haven't played since the leather helmet days."

Guys, you've got it half right.
Texas is arrogant as heck but they are "nice" about it. Okies on the other hand will rip your nuts off. Seriously.
I grew up in the old SWC days where the hatred of Texas grew but it was because they were the big dogs and we wanted to win in the worst way.
I also grew up in Fort Smith, Arkansas on the Oklahoma border and even though Arkansas and Oklahoma were never in the same conference, the Sooners were and are insufferable SOBs. Always coming over into town for goods and services with their danm paper clip logos making fun of the Hogs and generally telling us how much Arkansas sucks. Not just the team but the whole state.
Y'all may have the same opinion but don't come over on a daily basis to tell us about it. As someone mentioned, there was a time when Arkies would go to Tulsa for jobs but that has slowed down since NW Arkansas is doing so well. Oklahoma State fans and Tulsa fans though will tell you have absolutely obnoxious the OU fans are on their call in shows not just to say how awesome they are but to totally belittle everyone else even if they never play.
Beware driving in eastern Oklahoma if you ever come to a game in Norman. "Green Country" is as redneck (in a bad way) that you can get. In addition to the land being ugly as sin, you'll get your arse beat if you have your school's sticker on the car. Many of my friends have had the crap beaten out of us, one shot in the eye and I was shot at while driving my daughter back from Texas.
From Webber's Falls across Lake Eufala (literally the water is like chocolate milk ...... you've never seen such a POS lake; not kidding) and the McAlister and Stringtown areas are home of cons, prisoners and their families are almost as bad at Memphis but much uglier. If anyone. where-ever you are in the U.S. ever pulls out in front of you, unintentionally or not, they will have Oklahoma tags most of the time. Be careful on the roads. OKC and Tulsa are not the worst but you can do better.
To recap: Texas fans are arrogant to the core in general but usually can back it up. Most have some manners anyway. Oklahoma fans are just obnoxious wife beaters and though they have some good teams will try to beat your arse.

The A&M fan in this thread has a point about our Twitter fans--OU fans can be some of the most sensitive people around. I'm hoping going into the SEC and getting in the middle of that brawl will knock some sense into us. And a lot of the sensitivity stems from not getting our perceived due, so the conference move helps there (because the quality of your team/program becomes quickly apparent playing against the SEC, and you'll get any kudos you deserve based on your record alone).
UT and A&M are actually both very similar fanbases. Lots of the typical Texan chest-puffing and ego-fluffing from both, and both programs have vastly underperformed for decades.

This is 100% true. Texas fans have a sense of entitlement and have earned nothing. They’re similar to Tennessee fans. Both fan bases are essentially Clemson without the 2 quick and now forgotten championships. Could argue UGA will be like that in a few years.
