At this level, I don’t know that you can look at a coach when your players aren’t making routine plays that they’ve been making since Little League

He’s one of the greatest coaches until it’s time to make big boy decisions
IBB the bases loaded and forgetting Brown was on the bench was hilarious. Pitching to Jones in the 9th was even more funny. His run didn’t mean shite
DVH out coaches himself almost every opportunity he gets on the biggest stage

Did you watch Arky in 2018?
The pop up is super iconic and rightfully so haha. Missing a routine fly ball a gifted 10 year old could catch to blow the championship is a choke. But it was one play, compared to what I just watched?
That shortstop had a routine 4/6/2 he makes in his sleep. He inexplicably throws the ball to 3rd. He looked utterly perplexed after doing so. The left fielder literally could’ve sat there and not moved and caught the ball the very next play. He choked on an imaginary cock and falls down and is STRUCK by the ball on the shoulder. The 2nd baseman is in PERFECT position to catch that line drive and the ball bounced of his glove. All three plays. Back to back to back. I’ve never seen that before collectively watch an entire team choke so bad.

Don’t forget the throwing error that led to Curiel getting to 2nd baw

He’s a great coach. I have nothing bad to say.

Definitely better and more respectable than Vitellos trashy arse.

Which half are saying to hire? I’m so confused.

Lmao ok but he doesn’t. Teams with less talent than Arkansas have won championships in Omaha if that’s the point you’re trying to make. The guy clearly has some sort of issue winning clutch games.

Just watch the last play: 2B is positioned perfectly, doesn’t take a step left or right, but…

Ok. Bad decisions made down the stretch again.
So idiotic. What the frick is he supposed to do? He can’t stay at home at first base, make his pitcher not be late covering first base, can’t make the SS make the obvious play to turn two, can’t make the LF make a fairly simple catch and make the second baseman catch a ball that hit his glove. They were all in position to make routine plays and shite the bed. How in the hell is that on DVH??

But if it’s consistently happening year after year, wouldn’t you say it’s on the coach of those players ?

It is on DVH because he is the only constant while the plays you described have occurred consistently for the past 1/4 of a century.
LSU wouldn't put up with this shite, so don't pretend like they would.

I just can't. DVH isn't our Marv Levy. I guarantee the man will take the blame but it's not him. It's not. It's not DVH.

The players are a reflection of the coach.
