The damn show was inspired by the updyke bullshite. That's why it got approved for a show to begin with. Couldn't expect much from it

There's only so much they can fit in a 1-hour documentary and even then, we already knew everything that it covered. For it to truly do the rivalry justice, it needed to be 2-hours.

Considering the time constraints, it was ok. It was probably pretty good to someone who isn't knowledgeable about the rivalry.

I was just so pissed at the lack of history of the rivalry. I mean basically said Alabama won the first game, shug was hired, bear was hired and dominated, bo over the top, tubbs was okay. I mean it was just so half assed. What a let down.

Nothing about punt bama punt, Tiffin's kick, 89 game. All the great games of the rivalry were almost completely left out.

I agree. That is what I was expecting, and instead I get Paul Finebaum, David Housel, Harvey Updyke, Phyllis, Legend, Jim from Crestwood, and Tammy.

I'm looking forward to the Harvey Updyke interview

That was nothing. The funniest part of the film - Wrong Way Bo saying, "University of Auburn"

Overall - disappointed in the film. What was up with the pycho piano player and the goofy facial expressions?

Really embarrassing for the entire state of Alabama. Besides maybe, the Auburn horticulturist, that was nothing but low rent, no life idiots.

So, Bama fans are tree poisoners and Auburn fans help people in times of need. Interesting contrast.

We know how skewed that piece was. Try and explain how they felt there are more GT fans than UT fans.

I was in Tuscaloosa in 2004, so I remember what it used to look like.

Agree. The lack of history was weak. Overall I can't say it totally sucked, but I did not really like it in large part.

My biggest gripes were too much focus on the last two years and too much Updyke.

The fact Dye was not given credit for changing everything was really dumb. Also, the 1980's was likely the apex of the rivalry to date and they were barely mentioned.

That was nothing. The funniest part of the film - not mentioning four missed field goals against LSU

Seriously? I've lived in Baton Rouge and NWA. Talk radio begs for the crazies to call in. Finebaum just works people better. They don't know they're being set up to be made fun of.

He tries and tries all of the time and continues to fail. Just like on his GED test.
