Proposed rule change or next year in Louisiana would allow the use of any firearm during primitive season on private land.

The two inch shells, which can increase capacity of tube fed guns, is also interesting.

You need to look at their game laws to make sure you put in for a license on time. Many places start drawing pretty soon.
The guy also was hunting without a license

People who shoot other hunters should be judged more harshly than they are. If a hunter legitimately shoots at an identified animal, but there is an unseen human behind the target or somehow in the line of fire, that Is a tragic accident, unless the shooter did not make a reasonable effort to know about the other hunter.

On the other hand, if the shooter is shooting at sound or movement and has not identified his target properly and hits what he is aiming at, which happens to be a human, that should be negligent homicide, a crime.

This article says that there may be future restrictions on those receiving Social Security Benefits from purchasing.

Would that be those receiving SS based on mental health issues?

I am thinking that they want to call one a dealer if they buy a gun just to hold and resell at a profit, like many do during gun scares.

I think it would be pretty damn cool to have elk outside of the rocky mountain region... honestly, I think elk would crowd out some of the whitetails, so I don't think the damages in the areas that you mention would increase or decrease much at all due to elk...

Elk are much more destructive to fences. If there is a green field, they will cause a great deal of damage to the fences around it. They will also push through fences to get to hay. Round bales out in a field would get devastated.

They make a tactical holster that now goes under scrubs, warmups, and the like. Goes around your whole waist, no need for a belt.

Who makes that one?
I have a couple of these undershirts with the built in holster that I wear walking or bike riding. They would be good under a loose scrub. They can get a little warm sometimes.

This is Hickok shooting a three inch 629.

Would not be too fun to shoot with full magnum loads , but you can always keep it loaded with 44 specials for everyday use.

Proposed ban on M855 not all 5.56 although this does create concern for future legislation. This isn't new news it's been in the works for a while. Please try to educate yourself if not you're part of the problem.

A week or so after the Brady Bill passed, I tried to order a Remington 700 in 7mm Rem Mag. 700's were sold out by everyone except in obscure calibers because even though The Brady Bill did not affect bolt action hunting guns, there was a fear that the Brady Bill was just a first step to further gun regulations. Every regulation creates a little panic in gun owners.
