Which is pretty sad when you have 4 of them.

There's not a better 3-4 DLine in the country than Bama's. There's a reason our LB corps is so dominant. The front 3 allow them to make plays.

I agree with this. The LB's in a 3-4 and the DL in a 4-3 always get too much credit. Bama's DL is elite and so are LSU's LB's. they're just asked to do different things. Just as the DL's are close to even, so are the LB's.

No way in hell I consider LSU linebackers as elite. Adequate at best, and unquestionably the weak link of the D.

So my question is: Do you believe being in man coverage on Randle is better than allowing LSU to gain a few yards on the edge?

I'm fine with man to man on Randle. He's a very good receiver but I think Bama's dbs are capable of covering him. I don't think JJ will have enough time in the pocket to make long throws. And I'm not convinced he can make long throws anyway. I think UA probably prepared more for Lee and a lot of passing the first time. Which allowed JJ and the option to be more effective.

And Doc, Foster drilled a 49 yarder the next week against MSU. Probably would have easily made it from 55. So he definitely has the leg.

you need to go out in the jackyard and backoff.

Notwithstanding his one heroic 49-yarder, he does not have the leg on a very consistent basis at all, unless you count being consistently low-percentage.

Was it called back for a penalty? He has two made FGs all year, the last one being in the LSU game.

Also, props for actually talking football unlike tt13 and the other whiny babies in here.

I keep hearing saban will play more loose with more chances this time. Well, he threw the kitchen fricking sink in his last game plan and lost. Miles was safe on the road and played conservative.

Guess what? You bama fans are about to behold a real kitchen sink, while saban sits on his thumb.

Watch it happen while t-town burns to the ground.

Well Saban obviously thinks differently because he had a safety over the top of RR all night on Nov. 5th. If Bama goes zero on RR's side he will win that battle.
