re: floating the tangi on sat launch points

Do not try to launch in Amite off of highway 16 bridge. The beach access is privately owned and the owners keep a close eye on it. They have been having state police writing tickets left and right for the past 2-3 years.

Exactly. He's playing the 1 tech and doing a great job.

Not trolling here, but based simply on last weeks performances, who would you say is better? They utterly DOMINATED a top ten Georgia team... Made them look silly.. Tell me anyone else who would have done that??
They by far looked the best last week but I don't base my opinion of a team on one single game just like I didn't write them off when they lost to Ole Miss. Just because they had a good game against UGA doesn't mean that turnover happy team that played against Ole Miss won't show up again. The truth is the true Bama is most likely somewhere between those last 2 games.

There is no doubt LSU hasn't played very good defenses yet but lets be honest if Les would have let him play in the 4th he most likely would have gotten 300 yards in a game twice already. Heck he was a penalty against Cuse away from getting it.

Its so funny to me that people will base rankings off of one game. No way Bama looks like the best team in the country right now. This board is so overreacts to every game. You can go from "this is the end for Bama" to "Bama is goat" in a week span. When Bama lost to Ole Miss I knew they would still be a top 10 caliber team. Watching them beat UGA just confirmed that thought. But to say they are the best in the country because of one game where UGA gifted them 14 pointed is crazy talk.

The best offense moves the ball down the field without having to take big risk. LSU has done that to A&M for 5 straight games. Your team is about to get exposed. Teams can win in the SEC without a great passing game. But they darn sure can't win with a bad running game which A&M has.

LSU is laughably one dimensional. It will be Bama or A&M.
A&M will be one dimensional against a solid D. That run game is a joke.

Not a chance. SC will stack the right side of the defensive side where 90% of LF7's big runs go.
No defensive coordinator would ever stack a side based off where a player broke off long runs in previous games They will line up based on LSUs formation and then of course the strength of the formation. Ever notice one DT always seems much closer to the DE and another DT is lined up closer to the center. The side where the DT is wider is usually a 3 tech( outside shoulder of guard) which is the strong side.

Alabama has looked good in one game this year. This board is so bipolar. When they lost to Ole Miss it was "they are done" and now they win a big game and its "omg Bama goat". The truth is Bama is most likely somewhere between the team we saw against Ole Miss and the team we saw at Georgia.

I've used regular ole lunker lures and caught reds. They'll eat pretty much anything.

I honestly much more excited for the Florida game than the Ole Miss game. Florida's defense is IMO the best defense we'll face all year.
re: Lets talk Chubb, Elliot and LF7

OSU has him listed at 225 and the average 40 time I find for him is 4.42. To be fair its hard to find an average 40 time for LF7 so its hard to compare. I do understand that Elliot was clocked at 4.32 at one point but you have to go by 40 average to get a good understanding of what a player actually runs. Watching them both LF just seems to move better but that could be bias talking.

Elliot is a great player. LF is a great player. As far as production goes so far they are pretty close to even. I just think LF has a much higher ceiling. He's bigger and faster than Elliot. Seems to run with a little more nasty as well(opinion). There just don't seem to be too many 6'1 235 lbs guys that run 4.35 40's walking around. LF is an absolute freak of nature.

PENALTIES worry, not turnovers. We are an undisciplined team w penalties. # 113 out of 128 This tells me that our coaches do not practice with discipline.
That's so dumb. Our coaches are disciplined enough to teach these kids how to perfect different blocking schemes and things of that nature but they just decide not to do the same with penalties? We've had several personal foul penalties for participating without a helmet. You think the players aren't coached not to do that. Sometimes 18-22 year old kids mess up. It's that simple.

He certainly stopped way to early but he also didn't quit. I think he misjudged the ball and thought it was going to be a jump ball.

Gordy Rush said it this morning. The receivers aren't running routes well enough to use the whole route tree.
That doesn't make the route tree terrible. That means our WRs aren't performing. What routes have we not seen yet? Just because we don't throw it to a guy doesnt mean the WR didn't run that particular route.

Have you ever seen LSU play? Serious question.
If you have and you're too stupid to see the problem then I can't help you.
I've seen LSU play every single game for the last 10 years. I never said there wasn't a problem. I just asked if you could explain how a route tree could be terrible. I'm dead serious. I do not understand how a route tree can be terrible. Our execution of the route tree may not be great but we run every single route imaginable.

We have several Saturday. The WRs just dropped them.

Please explain this. I would love to hear your expert comments on route trees. Seriously how can a route tree be weak?
