I'm thinking about going. Since it is a Saturday, it may be an easy trip for me. I should be able to drive there and back in a day. Tickets seem affordable too.

Do they know what time the game will be yet?

Have to be day time right? That part of town is a lil sketchy after dark.

Independence Bowl should have tried to get us. I think a 9-3 Louisiana Tech team turned them down, because they didn't want to play ULM. I think LATECH is staying at home now.

Seriously? I find that hard to believe.

They thought they would get the liberty bowl, but NIU getting a BCS bowl bumped OU down which sent Iowa St down (which sent you guys down) which meant no bowl left for LaTech after they turned down the Indy bowl.

What I'm hearing from some ULM friends up in Monroe. I don't know if it is true either. But if it is, it is quite funny.

So who are they gonna send to play ULM?

We haven't been to Shreveport since 2002 when we beat Nebraska. Would have been a good pick for us. Ole Miss always traveled damn good to Shreveport.

You're pissed about the bowl?
Be honest, were you this picky about bowls the day Hugh freeze took over?

I don't care what anyone says, I'm gonna be gettin' cray cray down in the Magic City on the 4th. More Magic for me
Seriously though, how many firearms do I need to carry while I'm down there?

Well apparently, I'm going. Just got off the phone with the parents and we've got a block of tickets. Two bowls in less than 5 days. sorta.

Sigh. I was hoping the Rebs would end up in Nashville. Was going to drive down and check that one out.

We'll still fill the stadium up on our side. But yeah I am not going.
Better go and enjoy it. Ya'll won't be in another bowl for a few years. Once Freeze runs out of Nutts recruits you'll be back to 3 or 4 wins a year.
