If it makes you feel any better I took a line drive foul ball off the arm in the 2004 regional in Houston during the Rice-Tx Southern game. That MF hurt like hell and it was 100+ degrees at the damn game. I had just propped my feet up and the Tx Southern third base man hit an absolute screamer down the line and nailed my right arm. A few inches higher and I might have had to go Texas Tech (brain damage.... get it???).

I guess maybe it does, but as of 11:30 p.m CDT Fox, CNN and ABC are not reporting this on their websites.

Nah... Great boxer and a celebrity but he had plenty of negatives... pay respect but there's a marine capt that died this week that deserves far more praise

I cringed a bit at that guy, figuring we were going to hear him all night. But for a one-and-done, that was pretty good.

Ali and Smokin' Joe taught me early on to never bet on sports. I lost $0.55 betting on Ali in their first fight while in the 7th grade. I never bet on sports again.

Was watching OM and it appeared that ump behind the plate did them no favors last night. Gotta give Utah credit for some timely hitting but blue was giving OM pitchers nothing to work with except the middle-in fastball. Strike zone didn't appear to go both ways either. Utah used it to their advantage working the count.
Don't think OM has the pitching to dig out of their hole.

We definitely didn't get much of a reward for a darn good season in the toughest league in the country. Utah is way better than their record and when was the last time the PAC-12 champ was a #4 seed in a regional? Still, Ole Miss had to find a way to win and they did not. Furthermore, Boston College and Tulane are pretty darn good, too. Simply put, there are no weak teams in the Oxford Regional while many other regionals have at least one weak sister and some, two. I knew last night after we had to use all our best pitchers to some extent and play extra that even if we won it would be a little more difficult than ideal. Then we lose and well, it's all but impossible now. But maybe Bianco can rally the troops and come all the way back. It's not likely, but it has been done before and not impossible.
