Believe it or not we just beat the teams we were suppossed too. Before the season just about everyone of you were saying how bad we were and laughed when we said we may win 3/4 games. We get that you are mad about knowing your program has peaked and the view from your mountain top wasnt as pretty as you thought

Go take a look at Gator Bowl thread. Wasn't just Ole Miss fans that wanted State to get a beating. A large portion of this board was beyond tired the past couple of years of hearing how wonderful State and Mullen are every two seconds. State fans have basically always lived in misery during football season. Can you blame them for being excited about being 7-0, regardless of who they played? (I never had any expectations of that lasting, but it was still fun).

Sorry I don't handle losing very well especially when it is because of coaching incompetency and our QB deciding to play like a retard .

Oh yes, because fans shouldn't support their team even against the odds. Instead, we should've just bent over and took it in the arse.
Just because our coaching staff and football team did exactly that doesn't mean the fans had to do so as well.

I believed we could've beaten Alabama. I just didn't believe it was very likely. How many posts by how many people can you dig up saying that they felt with certainty that State would beat Alabama?
My guess is you'll find threads by the usual suspects, but beyond that, I think most State fans felt the same way I did.
Really though, none of this changes what I originally said. MSU was Ole Miss's signature win, if for no other reason than because you all wanted to beat us so bad for whatever reason you may have had. We also just so happen to have the best record of any team Ole Miss has beat or will potentially beat in their bowl game.

I'm not new here. And you didn't hurt my feelings. I typically just lurk. I just find it funny people were so 'turned off' when State fans were excited about being 7-0.

Absolutely they can be. If they aren't excited or can't get excited, they aren't fans. What most of us are talking about are the numerous State fans on here that started excessive "Grind" threads and hijacked many, many other threads with their "Grind" crap. Don't be surprised when the result of all that is many SEC fans wanting State to get their just desserts. It didn't help that your coach let "National Championship" leave his lips after you guys went 7-0.
Don't get me wrong. Every fanbase on here has their fair share of idiot posters. I keep looking for the "ignore" button, but have not found it yet.
