If the game started at 3AM, BDS would still be packed. You're whining like you thing LSU is playing at some other time than Bama. None of that trivial shite matters.

I'm glad it's being moved to prime time- no matter where it's being played. Better for the fans. We get to party all day long now- and this is a game the entire country wants to see.

i dont think alabama has lost a night game in tiger stadium in my lifetime. regardless, youd have to imagine the outcry because there wouldnt be any.

i would imagine the that ESPN has negotiated a fee that will compensate them for lost viewers during their primetime games, so it will be a formula based on ratings. probably will include a share of CBS ratings, which will give them the incentive to do Gameday from T-town. Also, the SEC has to be paid a bonus fee because this game is outside of the normal contract.
i'm sure ESPN would like some 1st tier games for next year, which may be tricky because all the contracts will be renegotiated w/ A&M and Missouri. CBS probably tried to woo ESPN w/ unlimited usage of their "Murder She Wrote" and "Magnum PI" catalogs.

bullshite dude. Were you at the game yesterday? Shell of itself and would have been ten times better at night. You can argue that the outcome would have been the same and I would agree, but in big games this matters IMO.
We are not disagreeing... my point was that the outcome would have been the same. I don't really care about what the atmosphere will be like at BDS on November 5th... Bama won't be any MORE ready or MORE geeked up than they would have been for a 2:30 start.

Moving the game to prime time is only about money. The massive pimp campaign wil begin in earnest over the next few days and next weekend it will be solid, door, to door, wall to wall, nothing but make everybody sick to death of LSU-ALABAMA.
