Jim isn't the best, but it wasn't his fault we lost. Saban made some bad decisions, but I'm not ready to fire him.

What choices did McElwain have? LSU did an effective job of stopping the run and did not allow any medium-deep passes. The only thing that was there was throwing WR/RB screens and dumping the ball to TR out of the backfield. It isn't his fault that your kickers suck.

Plus, if he took more chances and opened it up more, there would have been more turnovers.

Trent was moving the ball. We should have put a saddle on him and rode him until he could no longer go... I'm talking Wildcat w/ him etc.

How many times did you even get into the red zone? Once?

Shouldn't be fired BUT he should explain why he is throwing a WR pass when they were driving the ball against LSU defense.

It irks me we run that toss play so close to the goal line.

They didn't make it into the redzone that often to know if his play calling is good or bad.

Option ftw. Was the only thing that worked all night, cant imagine we didnt try it there. Although the toss up the middle is Les' bnb all year.

TR had 35 yards on 12 carries in the 2nd half. That's 2.9 yards a carry. Out of those 12 carries, three were over 2 yards (3, 9, 24), the other 9 carries were 2 yards or less (-6, -4, 0, 0, 1, 2, 2, 2, 2).

LSU shut down TR in the 2nd half. He wasn't going to beat us. Here are the yards on those twelve carries in the order that he made the carries:

2
1
0
2
3
24
9
2
2
-6
-4
0

That's as close to shutting down TR as anyone will ever get.

I still think it would have been a positive thing. Wearing down the defense while milking precious time off of the clock. Plus, Trent is a homerun threat on any given play. I think it is pretty obvious that Bama is the best team in the country... They just shot themselves in the foot too many times Saturday night.
