Yeah really bad health situation. Multiple back surgeries resulting in needing a leg brace to stand. His right foot doesn't fully function. Sucks because he's genuinely a good guy and heck of a coach.

It was mutual. He was not being canned after a subpar but winning season. Folks may not remember but Coach K hsd back problems that almost pushed him to retire.

Matta was seen at the finest Bama apparel store in Tuscaloosa, Freds, stocking up on shirts and hats.

hes on the list, but further down. UCLA wants bennett or cal, and then matta has long been considered the fall back if either says no. so him taking yalls job would be a good sign for UCLA
