What was the whole situation with him an tOSU anyways? All that success then he just steps down after 1 bad season? "Health" related?

Terrible health issues with a back problem, literally had to sit in a chair at midcourt at practice, was getting killed in recruiting with it (was always an elite recruiter).
Basically agreed to step away, thought about coming back last year and got pretty close with UGA but decided he wasn't ready yet.

He had back issues. He could no longer travel for recruiting. If we end up hiring him, I'm guessing his back is no longer an issue.

Seems strange he would come back a lot better then, reading up on 4 back surgeries he had before his end at tOSU. Seems like an issue that never will really go away.

Yea, I don't know the specifics, but people around him made it pretty clear throughout last year's hiring go round that there is zero chance he'd come back unless he felt confident about his health.
So, we'll see.
