Lane has grown up quite a bit. You cannot argue with his current success with the Rebels.
I have a sneaking suspicion Florida is going to go after him if they make a change this year.

Kiffen is a really good coach with a high ceiling. Especially considering he's doing this at Ole Miss which isn't exactly elite in comparison to other top level SEC schools. His biggest problem currently, IMO, is having Golding as DC.

The fact that LSU fans are trolling Ole Miss shows you where they are in the pecking order.

When has he ever had a good DC other than his father? He's a brilliant offensive mind but he doesn't give a rat's arse about defense. He's not a great recruiter either.

Ole Miss has actually done a great job casting a broader net for NIL. They’re chasing the middle class / upper middle class alums that give like $1k - $5k a year. The problem is a lot of these people used to donate to the school and now they’re being asked to donate to NIL.

Well then how TF has he beaten LSU multiple times? Is it just the "winning pedigree and culture" of Ole Miss? Lol wow...what's funny about this coming from LSU fans is, (and I see it a lot), it is actually an indictment against their program because they have NEVER beaten Kiffin in Oxford. How can that be?

And he's never beaten LSU in BR. He beat our trash defense in Orgeron's final year, and our trash defense last year. Even then, it took a dropped TD pass at the end of the game for Ole Miss to pull it out. Both defenses were trash. This doesn't rebut the argument that he doesn't put any emphasis on defense.

Kiffin isn't mediocre, he's like 3rd in winning percentage of SEC coaches at their current job

He's the first coach to win 11 games at Ole Miss.
He's the only coach besides Johnny Vaught to win ten or more games twice at Ole Miss.
I'd say he's better than mediocre. Unless you're one of those dudes that think only five coaches are good and everyone else is shite.

Pickle Weasel, I’ve been trying to get on the Ole Miss Board for a while now, I’ve requested access a few times over the years but nothing ever came of it, just says my request is under review. I’m not sure how the process works, but could you help me out?
