Happy as frick to finally be on one of these lists
That said, I'd sell my kidney to see 2019 LSU play 2020 Alabama. Straight electric factory of game.

Clemson got busted by osu for cheating and they turned it on them, clemson couldnt get lined up and osu kept running the perfect play in the blow out. Smart by osu.
As it pertains to big 10 teams, we generally beat them, like we did Michigan. Too fat and slow in the lines.

You left out the fact that the only game they lost that season was when Deshawn Watson was hurt and unable to play...they still only lost by 3.

I’d put 2013 FSU above 2015 Alabama
Jimbo Fisher is a pretty good coach but he didn’t have his team quite ready for a very tough Auburn team, which is why it was 21-3 early

Not really sticking with this idea, but the two best teams I've ever seen were The U in '01 and 2019 LSU. I'm biased, but after "The Speech", there maybe wasn't a more dominant team ever than our 2008 National Championship team.

I would say 2019 LSU played virtually the same 2018 Clemson team. There was very little turnover for Clemson that year.
Clemson's lost almost their whole starting defense. Not to take away from 2019 LSU. That team was stacked.

Deshaun was not hurt that game. Pittsburgh just beat us.

Why is it the poster's team is always #1 in objective lists?

It's much harder to defend five than two.

Give Jimbo a little respect. That offense averaged 51.6 ppg while the defense gave up 12.1 ppg. He almost averaged a 40 point margin a game. Negative points for ACC schedule and no playoff yet, but still.
FSU had a couple of things working against them in that game. Jeremy Pruitt already knew he was leaving Tallahassee and didn't put in work for the defensive gameplan against that Auburn offense. Jimbo was already hearing rumblings about Candi, which distracted him enough that he didn't realize Dameyune Craig, who literally signalled in Jimbo's plays at FSU, was calling out all of Jimbo's plays in the first half. Jimbo finally changed the signals at halftime and we outscored Auburn 24-10 in the second half. So yes it came down to the last play but I don't think that 2013 team should be discounted because they saved their one shitty performance for the last game.
Having the 2016 Clemson team ahead of them is debatable because against a much lesser FSU team that year they needed a phantom block in the back on a long go ahead TD by Dalvin Cook to win. They also lost to Pitt at home. So ranking 2013 FSU below 2016 one loss Clemson because they had a close NC game doesn't really make sense.
As far as sheer talent all 22 FSU starters made NFL rosters, 23 including the kicker, and was loaded with 4 and 5 stars. Thinking they were just some shite ACC team with no chance to compete with all those SEC teams isn't realistic.
I'll get downvoted but that's my 2 cents on the 2013 FSU team

I had never heard that one before. Guess there were no hard feelings as he's on staff at A&M.

The camera actually caught Kelvin Benjamin on the sideline near the end of the 2nd quarter yelling that he was calling out the plays. Can't blame Dameyune for that one bit

I don't doubt that LSU could legitmately argue that it was the GOAT season but no LSU fan is going to be able to objectively make this list. And I wouldn't blame them.
Exactly. These types of threads on sites like this are silly. Just devolves into complete homerism.
