This. I don't care what the DA in memphis has to say about this being a "no-plea" deal in his jurisdiction. They are all YO eligible and first time offenders. They'll work something out. That something may include some jail time, but there is no way they all catch the max. allowed.

I assume this means they are garunteed to be kicked off the team? Sorry, I haven't sifted through the entire thread...

Question-Since JJ stayed in the car during the holdup, only to get out to tell his buddies to leave, then is it possible he just gets a slap on the wrist?

After reviwing video of the armed robbery by UT players . . .
. . . SEC Replay officials have overturned the ruling on the scene and have now charged two Miss St. players and one LSU player with the offense.

of course, but it gives Kif a way to keep Janzen on the team, especially considering he's the best player out of the three amigos

I feel like in Louisiana, the cops would have never let this hit the news

As recently as Wednesday, during the SEC coaches teleconference, Kiffin had praised his team for not having any off-the-field problems during his tenure and had repeated several times this year that the Vols had been free of any such incidents.
Ironic that this happens right after these comments.
Well we've seen that Boy Blunder is a bit shaky on the SEC rules... maybe that vagueness extends to whether things other than murder can be felonies

i dont know who they play but this is a lot of distraction to deal with this weekend. I would bet the house against UT.

His defense will be that he didn't even know what they were going to do and he was scared for his life as well.
Just like the weed in the car all belonged to the chick who was driving. If he would have known these gentlemen and young lady were drug users, he never would have got in that car in the first place. He was a victim!!!!!

Well, you can go to USCe and work at a gas station or you can go to UT and rob one.
