Yeah, Clemson's a good team, solid program

Clemson does lose games sometimes like everybody else. The question is why are we singled out for it.
It's not just about losing games. We've seen Clemson "choke" more so than other teams. Consistently. Lose games they shouldn't lose, or not be competitive in games they should be. I'm sorry we've noticed. There's not any "question" about it, it's very straighforward. I feel like you know that, and that's why you're trying to make it just about losing games.

No, saying the SEC is overhyped is irrational and baseless.

Because Cocks are SEC and Taters are stuck in the All Carolina Conference serving their masters in Chapel Hill and Durham. Must such to be a football school in a basketball conference.

So if Alabama wins out and Ole Miss does the same the only loss Bama would have would be to an SEC Champ Ole Miss and our wins would be over better teams than ND would have beaten.

Anyone think Stanford is better than LSU? Texas and Georgia Tech have sucked and UGA will probably beat Tech down the line, which would help our SOS.

There is a part of me that is intrigued by the prospect of an 11-1 non Sec champ Bama being left out of the playoff.

If we want an 8 team playoff, wish this happens. The uproar would be monumental.

The tv types would demand it. Tv ratings are everything. Leaving out a Alabama, Stanford or Notre Dame would crush the CFP.

Ps: I keep hearing that the BEST four teams will be selected. Well, there are around 8-10 really good teams out there at the moment.

I hope Bama makes it but if we don't, good things will occur.

I don't agree with this. If they LOVED it so much, 12-1 Bama would have been left out last year, in favor of another 1 loss team.

Forget the regional biases, for now. However, if the SEC continues its poor bowl performance from last year, its suspect OOC results so far this season, then questions about SEC relevance move to the forefront.

A 1 loss Alabama would probably should get in over Notre Dame, but let's be honest the loss ND had looks much better on paper than the Alabama loss, at least at the moment.

The SEC is overhyped, that is why you see so many teams ranked highly in preaseason like Auburn, and SC last year, who end up unranked.

You don't see Clemson choke more than other teams b/c we've won 35 in a row over unranked teams. We are also 11-1 the past few years when we have a lead at start of 4th quarter.

We've finished the past 4 years ranked higher than our preseason rank.

you just repeat things no matter how mindless they are.

your meme is that Clemson doesn't win the big game but we have won several big games. I just listed them

doesn't suck beating the hell out of our NC masters.

ACC has 5 ranked teams, Clemson, FSU, Pitt, Duke, and UNC, plus ND as a partial member. G Tech could beat most SEC schools this year.

ACC is competitive in every sport. Some years better in football than others. Va Tech and Miami can be better with the right coaches, as can NC State and UVA. right now a lot of programs are hurting b/c there don't seem to be many great QBs these days. can't win consistently without good QB play.

Clemson looks really good this year. Their only real problem is the ACC is considered a weak conference so they cannot slip up a single time.

I think they can lose one but have to win the ACC title. it isn't as bad as you think and the SEC does not look good to me, nor any of the other conferences.

I believe all the power 5 conference teams with have at least 1 loss.

Cue the Georgia Tech card about now for rebuttal

Whut?

You guys miss Dook and UNCheats so you just get NCST and WF this season. Vandy could beat them so not exactly much to crow about. If Free Shoes beats you, then Gators beat Free Shoes, Taters are DOA even if they win the ACC.

I did not say the ACC is that bad, but it is the perception.

Five power conferences, four spots.

Which conference do you think would get left out with one loss?

it was SEC people on here touting G Tech, even though they loss their 4 top rushers and top 2 WRS from last year. I said they would probably struggle this year and their defense wasn't that good last year.

But, G Tech has played and lost at Duke, at ND, lost at Clemson, and lost close ones to Pitt and UNC at home, both of those only have 1 loss.

That is probably toughest schedule of games of any team so far.

It is hard to say without knowing what teams they are.

all I care about is winning as many games as possible and winning ACC title. clem will go to a good bowl game regardless. who gets into playoffs is still pretty subjective.

to me, Clemson looks a lot better than Florida, but if it came down to Clemson or Florida, I could see Florida being taken due to their past success as program. that is why Ohio State got in last year, even though tCU had the best case.

I was talking in general, you said the NC schools were our masters but we usually beat them in football.

NC State would beat Vandy. Their QB transferred from Florida and is decent and they have good RBs.

we might get left out, who knows at this point.

this has been a good season regardless of what happens next. teams need to get some breaks to go undefeated or only lose 1, or they need to be unbelievably good because law of averages means you lose some the more games you play

cks me up because SC lost 4 or 5 games last year despite being up 14 in the 4th quarter, plus got blasted at home by Texas AM, but nobody talks about Gamecocking.

it is odd that one program in entire country got associated with losing a big game when all colleges lose big games all the time including Alabama.

To be fair your conference top to bottom sucks. Rt now FSU and Clemson are they only really talented teams. Its not even close to the rest of the conference. FSU shouldn't lose to ga tech, Wake Forrest, UVA, NC state. That's weak shite rt there. Clemson is in, just don't lose a game.

do you watch any SEC football games this year? I'm not seeing many prolific offenses. it is pretty bad

I think a NC State could win the SEC east this year

Irish are some crafty bastards. If they stay at 1 loss, only an undefeated season will get Taters in. 1 loss and Irish will jump you even tho they will not have to play the 13th game. CFP committee is already stacked in their favor.
