When else would they play it?

Are you saying you can’t have CFB and NFL play on the same day?

The idea with network programming is you really have to win the day to maximize profits instead of head to head.

There's a lot of evidence that CFB is losing market share and lot of it quickly due to these style of playoffs.

Not when you want to pull in as many viewers as possible.

I would prefer it, yes. The companies that broadcast it to make money seemingly believe they would get better ratings tonight than they would competing with the NFL.

And the NFL would have something to say too

Well I’m certainly surprised at how Penn St has controlled the game so far.

This Abdul Carter kid should be the first pick in the NFL draft

I wonder who Notre Dame will trot out at QB in the second half. The backup actually gave them some life and looked like the far superior passer.

I think Freeman is downplaying the effect the flu has had on his team.

Amazing to see it's not the receivers on Notre dame that are the problem

Flu? Lol. ND is completely depleted. Surprised it’s even close. They have a tackle playing guard, a guard playing center. Their best offensive player is out. Riley hurt and 1/2 their defense is out. They need to fire their S& C coach

I think people are just trying to figure out how Notre Dame is getting dominated. I’m certainly not bothered by them losing.
