If there is nothing to play for why not just call it a season. No bowl, no extra practices, etc.

LSU is a member of the SEC, charter member, and it is professionalism to play the games your obliged to play. Florida is playing for momentum and Trask has a chance at the Heisman. Ole Miss already lost the Aggie game, there team deserves to compete and play another game. Not their Fault LSU effectively opted out of the season back in August.

Same reason that it's important to get to a bowl game even if it's My Little Pony Pink Stripes Bowl. The practice time and reps are vital for development going into the next season.

All the practice in the world can’t replace real games.
Missing two games would set LSU’s freshmen and sophomores far behind.
Combined with their lack of coaching it would probably guarantee a losing season in 2021.

Give them every chance to get some minute amount of their shite together before spring. Bounce once tiny bit up from rock bottom.

I wish we wouldn’t

But to answer the question, LSU has an obligation to those teams. Would be a pathetic move on our part to just skip 2 sec games just because.

If LSU can manage to win these two games it will be a big deal to the development of the younger guys going forward.

It’s very likely this will be the last games they play ever. Rumors are the death penalty is imminent. Let them enjoy it and let’s all cheer them on

There is a lot of quitting and ducking going on because people are using COVID as an excuse, and people are noticing and will remember.

FSU, Duke, etc. they have destroyed their reputation.

Taking the L is way less damaging than the alternative.

0 is destroying LSU on the way out.

He will be more unhireable going forward than he was in 2016.

And before you baws go all 2019 and 46-41, you know that year was all Brady’s and Burrow’s doing, with no meaningful contribution from 0 than sideline cheerleading.

I know I shouldn’t be surprised by anything anymore but this is staggering. From the trash heap to the pinnacle back to the BOTTOM of the trash heap in 2 years. Can anyone think of another example of anything like this?

LSU players have a chance to regain some pride. Anyone can get their arse kicked, its what you do afterwards that defines the type of man you are.

If they did that, then there's 2 more reasons for this board to shite all over players and coaches.

Should a1abama fans be worried about the SECCG, the playoffs and "surely" the championship game??
