If he doesn't make the playoffs, the billionaires funding your NIL have an agreement in place with the would-be coach. Tech isn't playing around.

Tech's coach is kind of a goober to be suddenly mixed into this level of an operation. Dude is an ex-HS coach who wears a trucker cap when he coaches.

He's nowhere near up to this but... maybe you don't have to be.

Texas Tech is the only reason I would love to see Aggie make the playoffs.

There have been rumors of Riley wanting to get back to Texas. I don't know if that's what he's referring to though.
Ding, ding, ding. We have a winner. McGwire was told he needed to make the playoffs this year. He won't if he loses this game. Your billionaire that is funding the team has already had conversations with Riley.

Riley is a pussy that doesn't want to coach at the higher levels, and a team like Tech is his perfect fit

Those West Texas Oilmen have nothing else to do in West Texas with their billions.

According to ESPN, TT has a 7 $Million dollar defense line and the best in college football.

Dominant DLines makes everything better...ie. Bama under Saban...

West Texas sucks hairy balls (spent 2 years out there) on oil rigs...paid for my grad school but mother of God, it's like Mars

They do but don't equate this with Vegas picking the winner because that's not what they are doing. They just want a number that puts even money on both sides.

The line opened at -9 so the bets are coming in for the Red Raiders. -10.5 is a big number.

I wouldn't be surprised if BYU wins outright.

Nor would I. I'm just suggesting that could play a part in the spread. BYU has a good team.

Lubbock is the Bermuda Triangle of CFB. 5 downs plus 3 yards on the spot are common for the home team

What was A&M a -2.5 favorite over LSU?

BYU could easily win this game. I'm not sure how TTech whipped everyone into a frenzy - but they are still beatable in a heartbeat.

Hmm. I wonder if Sark is sober this Friday evening. I'd rather have this problem than the under-achieving mess in Austin. Barely beat Miss State, barely beat Kentucky, damn near let Vandy over come -21 at the beginning of the 4th. You have the ugliest wins of any top 20 program. Lost decisively to Fla.

But on the bright side you did have that "good" loss to OSU to hang your hat on. And yall decisively beat OU that offensive power house of the universe. Yep Sark is the greatest.
