College Station has nothing on Austin.
We don't want to be Austin. Austin is a large city with a university in it. Bums, tattoo shops and urine in the streets.
College Station is an expanding but still quiet and peaceful college town that revolves around Texas A&M. The college experience there is just better.

Austin because it's nicer and more fun:

College Station, TX:

It’s not as weird as Portland. West 6th is a pretty “normal” bar area for young professionals as far as big cities go. The area around UT is definitely still an urban feel and probably not comparable to any SEC campus I’ve seen, even Vandy.

Everytime I urinate in the street it evaporates pretty quickly.

Keep in mind I'm not asking where you want to live as a 25 year old, I'm asking where you'd want to go to college.

TCU has the cheerleader squads to watch in the BIG XII. Much better than Texas.

I'd rather go to college at Texas A&M as an undergrad. It's a business decision mane.

I'll take UT Tyler for $1,000 Alex.

Austin is one of the coolest towns in America. Bad question.

Austin > College Station.
Texas is the easy answer.

Others in this thread seem to have picked A&M, so clearly not a bad question.

It's a terrible question and those that picked College Station are either just being conference homers, have never been to Austin, or have never been to either.
It's not close.

Not everyone likes the same things.
I doubt all 50K A&M students truly wish they were Texas students.

Enjoying everything Austin has to offer isn’t exactly easy on a typical college kid budget either
I enjoyed spending my college years in a smaller “town”, I knew I would likely be living in a city after college and would never get that type of experience again. Everyone is different though. Austin is legit no doubt

4 years? Who tries to graduate in 4 years?
My dad said he wouldn't pay for anything undergrad over 4 years.
So I had to try and graduate in 4 years.
