Now do expenses….. I know for a fact LSU makes a profit in baseball, and loses money in women’s basketball

I truly don't care about basketball of any sort aside from UK mens...and the SEC shenanigans.
When we beat Carolina in the women's SECT that was great and all. But I didn't watch a single second and can't pretend like I really gave a shite.
Now our women's volleyball team....I'll watch them on SECN+. Same for softball.
So while I may still be a chauvinist and an a-hole, I still do watch some women's sports. Women's pro tennis another.
I do not remotely give a frick about women's basketball. It is fricking terrible.

Good stuff there. College hockey games are a blast. UKs midnight games at the Ice Center are rowdy as frick. Two of my buddies from high school played for them when I was at UK. Folks are hammered as frick in the stands.
Also note that women's basketball $ barely exceeds baseball....and that's with the media and ESPN pushing the ever living frick out of it to try try get it to matter. And that pushing is precisely why people do like I'm doing and get on here and bitch. Quit trying to tell people they should give a shite about things they don't give a shite about.
The reality is college baseball is a damn fun time and a great way to spend a spring afternoon. CWS is compelling as frick. But they get about dick for media publicity.

Turning a profit is not indicative of a fan base caring about a sport. West Virginia, Notre Dame, Georgetown, St. John’s and even Baylor don’t make profits on basketball. Those are pretty big schools for those sports.
I know FL, LSU, State, Arky, TN, Ole Miss, Georgia and Vandy all care a lot about baseball and apparently many of those are not turning a profit.

There are only two sports that net income across the board in college: football and men's basketball.
With few exceptions, every other sport operates in the red.

Don’t get your feelings hurt, I was not referring to you. The response was to a poster that said only four make a profit, so apparently two fanbases that love baseball do not make a profit. I didn’t care enough to look up the four when responding.
