There are more women than men in the world and their buying power has increased greatly. The networks are finally figuring this out. It's going to get bigger....
Let some of those "cuties" with a penis start infiltrating the ranks, and let's see which way it goes.

When trans take over womens basketball it will be much more competitive.

Jokes aside, the ncaa or whatever bunch administrate Title IX compliance are going to have a hell of a predicament to deal with.

And UofSC made the discussion about protests instead of the game. Nice.

I predict the Bidenistas will pressure the women teams to let the "chicks" with dicks play. When that happens it will destroy women's athletics. I wish we had rational, sane people in charge in this country.

I went to my first LSU baseball game over the weekend. It is somewhat of a down year for LSU baseball, but I bet the crowd there was larger than it has been for any LSU women's basketball game, ever. Just saying.

Guess you never tuned in. LSU women's basketball averaged almost 6,000 this year.

I think as you see Major League Baseball continue to contract minor league teams you’ll see more interest in college baseball. Why lose money on domestic minor league franchises when you can just let independent international leagues and college teams foot the developmental bill.

If you have a successful program, people will care. If half of the posters in this thread had a good and successful program, they would care

For comparison to last year's College Baseball National Championship:

If this is the comparison you are using to prove your point you do not have a point. Outside of the SEC nobody really cares about college baseball. Basically, if your team is good then you care about women’s basketball. If you are in the SEC then you care about college baseball. That’s about it.

Geno being in the finals brought extra viewers. People love greatness. Geno and Pat have been great. Dawn is on her way, though!

I always get downvoted into oblivion for stating the fact that WBB brings in more revenue than college baseball.

Only 4 SEC programs turn a profit, so apparently not.

Our program is alright I guess. About as good as Arkansas men's basketball based on the back to back elite 8s.

I've watched zero of those games

our girls won state in high school

us football players ran out during timeouts and halftime and built pyramids four-high (or more?) before falling all over ourselves and crashing to the floor

great times - I think the only state championship in history for our girls, the town was so proud

Do any women’s college basketball programs turn a profit?
