Just finish in the top 10% of your massive high school in any dump in Texas and you’re in.

The statement is flawed. Fact check before posting should be a given.
1) Vandy 5.9%
2) Florida 24.2%
3) Texas 26.6%
4) Georgia 37.7%
...
Vandy by far the hardest.

Any of them if they are in lock down mode.

With the state schools it matters a great deal whether in state or out of state. I believe Florida and Georgia limit the percent of students from out of state who can get admission with acceptance rates around 20% for both

Doesn't texas have like 50K students? And nobody can get in there?

Don't think so for Texas. Not sure but I think you have to do better than top 10% now.
BTW, doesn't matter if dump high school or not. If you can't hack it, you gone after 1 year.

Texas is like a massive private party where the front door is wide open for locals but the side door for everyone else is barely cracked.

I’ve realize I seriously can’t stand Texas since they joined the SEC. I didn’t know they were such suck asses. Soft

Texas has had 50K students since my older sister was going there back in the early 70s. Always been hard to get into and always getting harder.
my freshman class was about 50K in 1978. Always been like that.
