And yet they are still favored.

Everything has to go right for UM to win.

I predict Bama is going to spank that arse.

As much as I hate Bama, I feel you are right.

Ohio State didn’t have their star WR, starting QB, and numerous other opt outs. They couldn’t have cared less about this game.

You can’t take anything from it.

Alabama was missing both starting corners and two NFL caliber WR's, lost to injury vs UGA for the national title game after wearing UGA out in the SECCG, and this was not accepted as a reason for the loss.

Suck it Ohio State. Opt outs CHOOSE not to play.

Hell both those losses to Clemson was probably worse than that. When a DB tears his knee on pass coverage and gives up a TD you know you had a bad night. He was a 2nd or 3rd string guy to begin with.

starting QB

If I were a tOSU fan, seeing my starting QB who was pretty much a lock to be the 2024 starter as well quit the team and transfer to freaking Syracuse would have me asking serious questions about the direction of the program.

I haven’t watched Michigan play much this year, but what little I saw, they seemed like a 3 yards and cloud a dust offense, and don’t seem to have a lot of team speed. I can’t see them winning if we just go athlete vs athlete advantage.

Agreed. I'd love it Mizzou won national championships so often that players would consider opting out. Seriously, it would be an awesome problem to have.

And not only flys those opt outs to the game and puts them up, but also lets them wear a jersey on the sideline like a glorified cheerleader. What a slap in the face to their teammates.

Auburn is paying the players some serious cash trying to get that one win to not have a losing record. They are also paying through the nose to try and get some talent for Freeze. They gonna be sad when it doesn't pan out for them. They still gonna be in the bottom 1/3 of the SEC.
