Dont really give a shite. Just thought to chime in on a thread that is the largest on a board that I read sometimes. As for the bowl its the Chicken Bowl vs Clemson over 2 weeks away. Definitely a reason not to read a thread with the biggest SEC news of the week.

The SEC office has ALREADY SAID it was an illegal hit and warranted a flag. I guess he is butthurt too.
Also I don't use a game, played by kids to determine my self worth, so I'm not butthurt about CFB. Also, no amount of Bama wins, will make your double wide , a nice house.

I've yet to see a LSU fan "upset" about the non call. Just calling it like every fan base , besides Bama, sees it. If you think that hit was legal, you're biased. No need for a suspension at all, because AM was not defenseless, but def a missed call. I bet next time AM won't trot over toward the play after throwing an int.

It's not like we have anything better to talk about here in the dead week before bowls.
The hit was dirty, but by rule was legal. He didn't lead with his head and Murray was a defender at that point. He deserves no suspension, and anyone who thinks he did needs to let it go.

I think it's bull Elston got suspended. Elston's hit was not flagged either, and it was a questionable helmet to helmet(he launched his helmet at the player's chest). To my knowledge, Elston was the first player in the SEC to be retroactively suspended for something that was not acknowledged during the actual football game. It was infuriating at the time because it seemed like the SEC office took control of our football team and handed down the suspension arbitrarily. Personally, I believe the SEC office was just trying to make a point and decided it wouldn't matter if they stuck it to lowly Ole Miss first. I believe the SEC office now understands that they can't just hand down suspensions that could potentially impact the outcome of that team's next game.
With that being said, anyone cheering for a Dial suspension is cheering for the furthur pussification of football. Let the player's play and the refs decide what is legal and what is not. Hell it wasn't too long ago that players were hitting eachother skull to skull.
