Cecil, Jeremy, Honeybadger, and Jefferson say LSU is ThugU compared to Mississippi State

Maybe if MSU players would win their fights they would get in trouble (dak). That's usually the difference between assault and being the "victim" in a drunken brawl.
"Jefferson beat up by drunk marine" and "Jefferson beats up drunk marine" have a different ring to them no?
And you know for sure Jefferson started that fight?

And sure, hill snuck a guy and the badger smoked, thugU I guess

Cecil was messed up, won't argue for him. But isn't it reaching a little bit when 1 of the 4 players you mention played 20yrs and 3 coaches ago?

Punching a defenseless woman multiple times while she is on the ground is pretty damn close to being one.

He made a stupid mistake, yes. I'm not defending his actions. But as other SEC coaches have shown, even players who have hit a girl deserve a second chance.

Sure, after receiving some form of punishment.

Maybe Mullen will suspend him for a year and he'll RS/grey shirt. At State, if you're a 5*, you don't RS.

At any school, if you're a 5* and you beat the shite out of a girl laying on the ground, you shouldn't be on the team.

Tell me again how we have a bad culture towards women. MSU, OU, etc. just keep their players but we dismiss immediately and somehow wind up with the bad rep. Situations like this make it look like you're better off doing the wrong thing and saying 'frick you, deal with it' than doing the right thing and having people saying it wasn't good enough. It really is crazy to me.

Because y'all had multiple things come up and a player fight a teammate because he helped a girl that was raped? Or whatever happened.

But that never happened according the player who was allegedly fought (he told the paper it never happened). He now appears to have suddenly changed his mind two years after the fact now that there's a lawsuit. I don't disagree that it's a mess or that we've had multiple incidents all at once but what bugs me is that the coaching staff has dismissed or indefinitely suspended players every time anything has happened -- other schools haven't done that and yet don't get shite on.

Maybe because "aggravated rape" is a felony and Simmons was charged w/ simple assault which is a misdemeanor?

So you can hit a girl, it just can't be on video?

But you can beat the shite out of a guy on video and all is good?

Again. They were dismissed/indefinitely suspended within 24hrs, literally as soon as the coaches heard despite AJ being a star - there was no waiting to see if there would be charges or convictions or letting them play another game. They were also charged and are currently under prosecution - no coverup. That's about all a program can do. We did the same as Vandy only slightly faster yet Vandy got praised for their response to it while we get accused of shite.

Other schools do it differently or even let players remain on the team and play while they're being prosecuted and get less heat. It sends the message that doing the right thing in a situation counts for shite.

Ask Ray Rice. The only reason he's out of the NFL is because what he did was caught on video. Simmons just needs to hope this doesn't hit mainstream media or he may be fricked.

Don't be ignorant.
