Henry would have had 50 yards tops last night running behind LSU's offensive line.

Bottom line is LSU's guards (true-FR and red-FR) got eaten up on stunts all night and Leonard was being touched in the backfield more times than not, nothing he could do.

Yes sir, not really worth arguing about. It was a piss poor effort from both sides of the ball and not so special teams. Enjoy your Sunday!

Definitely Barry Sanders. Pretty sure Todd Gurley, Bo Jackson, Herschel Walker, Emmitt Smith, Ricky Williams, Earl Campbell and Archie Griffith prolly could have too.

Chubb proved he could go over 100 against them this year.

I'd say about half of them. On several of his runs there was a chance to get 4-5 yards by just hitting the hole hard, like he has all season. He hesitated almost every time.

I wouldn't say he was rattled, just frustrated. He had the thousand yard stare on the entire game.

Football is so much a team sport, I really can't say one player can make all the difference.
Fournette is a good back and will do well when even the slightest hole is given him. He's been great when he reaches the secondary.
But as proven last night, on both sides of the ball, even the best players must have help from the other 10 on the field.
This isn't pansy arse baseball, where when you come up to bat, your teammates are all sitting on the bench chewing tobacco and scratching their nuts.

L5U had to hold like crazy for him to get to the outside on his big 18 yard run.

We thought our offensive line would dominate. They did all season.

Boy were we wrong.

I agree 100%. As I said, I just feel Fournette deserves more a share of the blame than he's getting.

The Oline, coaches and Harris all deserve their share as well, more so than Fournette. He's still got to take some of it though.

McCaffrey and the Stanford line would have torn 'bama a new a-hole.

I bet they would have. Just like LF7 was gonna win the Heisman last night, score 3 TDs and rush for 150+.

Yawn.

I would love to see some of the folks criticizing fournette throw on pads and lace up a pair of cleats and get handed the ball in that game. since they seem to think they know better. "he should have hit the hole harder" sure buddy...you think it's just that simple huh? you go out there and get your ars slammed to the ground by multiple 300lb men and see how easy it is.

fournette is a good back. no discredit to him for last nights performance.

Herschel Walker could have done a little better, but I agree with the premise of your statement.

Fournette looked intimidated for the first time this season

I agree. You could also see it in his eyes that he was doubting himself and was like "what in the hell can I do?"
